    Title: Starring...! Fragrances Expanding!
    Hi friends!

I wanted to write with some exciting news! As you know, my sister, Ashley, and I started our perfume company last year and it's done so well that we've decided to expand our Internet store to include a very popular shopping site. You can now find even more Starring...! products at: www.starringfragrances.etsy.com

The new shop features my own personal line within the Starring...! franchise. You can check out tons of soy wax melts from both our original line and my new one called "The Coven Collection!"

I hope you all enjoy! Please write to me at the site as well and let me know what you think:

    Title: Happy July!
Hi all! I know it’s been a while since I’ve written updates, but the truth is I’m not much of a computer whiz and it’s taken me some time to learn how to do this right. Now that I know, please feel free to check here frequently for new information and posts from me!

Just last week I finished work on a new movie called “InAlienable” which was written and produced by Walter Koenig, who played Pavel Chekov on the TV series Star Trek. Being the dork that I am, I was so excited to meet him let alone have the opportunity to work for him! Richard Hatch (Battlestar Gallactica) played the male lead opposite me and we had such a great time working together that we plan on remaining friends for a long time. I also just wanted to mention Eric Avari (The Mummy), who played our quirky lawyer, because he is easily one of the kindest, funniest actors I’ve had the pleasure of working with.

The movie centers around two research scientists (played by Richard and myself) who come to find a broken piece of meteor that crashed to Earth. The aliens attached to it impregnate Richard! Now it’s up to my character to outthink and outrun the FBI in order to keep him safe. What starts off as a sci-fi thriller becomes a story of love, sex, and deceit. The climax comes during an intense courtroom scene that will alter the path of their lives forever.

Aside from film work, I’m still voicing the cartoon, “The Emperor’s New School” for the Disney Channel. I’m also developing a few other projects on my own, more to come about this in later posts. My sister, Ashley, and my perfume company is enjoying success as well and right now we’re in the process of expanding our line to include candles, body lotion, and soy tarts. Please check out our website at: www.starringfragrances.com

I’m so proud of my sister, too, for her work on the new MTV web series “Connected.” She plays a difficult, demanding, partying actress who delights in driving her agent completely mad. (Very unlike her in real life, so truly a stretch as an actress!) Her show just started airing online at: http://www.ifilm.com/tmobile Check back as they keep adding new episodes to the site! Also, the character introductions for the show are hilarious!

As for the rest of my world? I table dance my butt off while choosing books from the library. I party hard at my gym while running on the treadmill and doing yoga classes. And I certainly never miss a week without hitting the bottle – the water bottle that is while out walking with my 2 dogs. Yes, it’s true I took some time after I turned 21 years old, while I was on the FOX series “Boston Public” to go out to various Hollywood events and stay out late, dressed in such outlandish clothing that it sometimes appeared that I put on my clothes in the dark….blindfolded....while playing eenie, meenie, minie, mo….

Overall, it was fun. I met a lot of really wonderful people that way and I’m glad to have had the life experience. Though I choose not to smoke, drink alcohol, and I’ve never touched an illegal substance in my entire life (much to the chagrin of the tabloid world, though they got plenty on me with the way I dressed!), it was a very good time for me both socially and promotionally. Having been home schooled all of my life (after all, when you start working as an actress at the age of 3, it would have been nearly impossible to get a proper education with all of the regular school I would have missed) and even earning my BA from Skidmore College, it was a fantastic forum for me to meet a lot of new people and to have an arena to discuss my upcoming projects. At this point of my life, I have made a conscious choice not to continue in the same vein. Don’t get me wrong! I, like anyone, still enjoy a night out with my friends here and there and I would never turn my back on lending my time to a charity benefit (especially for animals) or even a stop over at fashion week once in a while to satisfy the girlie girl in me! I just feel that there’s so much more out there and I crave being intellectually challenged!

As for the ‘dork’ in me that I mentioned earlier, most people don’t know this, but I collected comic books for years growing up and I was a huge video game junkie! Okay, okay, sometimes I still hit the machine every so often, but I swear I have it under control! LOL Hmmmm, what else? Oh yeah! I adore foreign films, I fell in love with the Diane Arbus exhibit at the Getty Center Museum, and I literally cried when Sarah Brightman started singing songs from the “Phantom of the Opera” when I went to see her in concert. All right, enough silly stuff for now.

I want to express my deep appreciation for all the kindness you have shown me over the years. I continue to try and entertain you with quality work and with the same enthusiasm my 3 year old self felt the first time I stepped in front of a camera and heard that magic word – “Action!”

    Title: Welcome everybody!
I finally have a new website – yay! I’m over the moon about the adorable cartoon versions of Ashley and myself, they look very authentic! I’m glad to have my blog site working now and I’ll try to keep everyone up to date on what’s going on in my life so check back often!

I’m happy to report that things are going really well for me. I recently adopted a new little long haired Chihuahua puppy named Escargot (“Scar” for short!). He’s a cream and chocolate colored bundle of love and kisses. I was relieved to see that my chocolate toy poodle, Godiva (“Diva” for short and trust me, the name’s fitting!), took to him so quickly. They became fast friends and I couldn’t imagine life without them. I also have three small birds, two Rosy Bourke’s parakeets and a Scarlet Chested parakeet. They are considered ‘grass parrots’ since in their native Australia, they can often be found running around in the grass looking for food. They are beautiful birds in shades of pink, silver, green, and blue. I named them D'Artagnan, Madame Bonacieux, and Aramis from the Three Musketeers.

In December of last year, I graduated from Skidmore College with a double major in abnormal psychology and theater. I was really proud to graduate with honors and after taking a little time off, I’m going to pursue a master’s degree in the personality theory of psychology. I based my final thesis on one specific psychological disorder that I became interested in based upon one of the screenplays I had written. I was surprised to find so many willing volunteers who participated in my study and I felt the paper wouldn’t have been the same without them.

My acting career is going well, I’m busy with quite a few new ventures which you can read about on my “Upcoming Projects” page if you’d like. I’m also the creative director for my sister and my new perfume line which we’re launching very soon. It’s called “Starring…! Fragrances” and will be available online or in boutiques. Ashley conceptualized this unique and special perfume line and we think all of you are going to love it! In the meantime, keep checking out the rest of the new site, I really like it!

Thank you all for your continued support, talk to you later!
