Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while since my last update – so here goes! This has been a very busy year for me and an exciting one too!

Just last week, I wrapped on my newest film from the Broken Lizard comedy team (Super Troopers, Beerfest) called “Freeloaders”. It’s a hilarious movie being produced by the Counting Crows’s lead singer Adam Duritz and it also co-stars Jane Seymour, Dave Foley, Clifton Collins Jr., and Denise Richards. My character is ‘Amber’ and though she falls for one of the other characters in the film, she is suspicious of him and doesn’t believe it when he tries to convince her that the gorgeous mansion he’s staying in actually belongs to him. Nat Faxon plays opposite me and he’s a really funny actor with whom I had so much fun doing improv and coming up with awesome physical comedy. The film is due out later this year – I can’t wait!

Also, a few months before this one, I completed another film called “Road to Hell.” This movie is a thriller shot in the same style as Sin City and 300. The film centers around two young women on the run from the law because of a murder they committed and their ultimate downfall and redemption when they meet a lone stranger on a deserted highway after their car breaks down. My character ‘Ashley’ is a ravaged soul who just wants the chance to start over. Michael Pare also stars as a bizarre, lost man who is searching for his wife and whose metamorphosis from kindly stranger to deranged killer winds up pitting the two girls against each other in a race for staying alive. It is not a horror film, but an action packed thriller where I did many of my own stunts and had some of the most amazingly choreographed fight scenes of my career so far. We shot the entire movie on a soundstage that was painted entirely green with very few props. This allows the graphic arts team to come in afterwards and literally create the world around us from a computer. I’m looking forward to seeing the final result. This film should also be completed by mid-year.

You can still find my other movie, “InAlienable” at www.renegadestudios.com!

I was very proud to be asked to be part of the benefit to raise money for the Writer's Guild Strike of last year. Alongside Reed Scott (My Boys) and director Joe Nussbaum (Sydney White) we put together a funny theater production called "2B or Not 2B". My character is hopeless in love until her conscience comes knocking in the form of a giant bee.

My jewelry line, CHARMED JEWELRY, is still being sold at the Whole Foods Life Style store, at the Jennifer Kaufman boutique, and online at www.starringjewelry.com & http://StarringJewelry.etsy.com

I have another film in the works right now and I expect to start it in about a month or two! I will have more information on this new project as it gets a little closer to starting production!

Thanks to everyone who has stayed so loyal and supportive over the years. I will continue to work hard at my craft and to create characters and artistic expressions through my work that hopefully resonates with all of you. Have a wonderful day, love and light!
